Great Week!


       This past week has been great! I love being home ALL the time. Mommy and I go to the park and sit out side and play it's so much fun! I had a good day this past week where I tried to eat an Oreo but after tasting it for a while I just started to play with it. OT wasn't so good this week, but it was because my acid reflux was acting up. I still love drinking water from a straw or cup so at least I'm taking something by mouth. I'm doing great with everything else even though I am still not walking on my own. I think I'm getting pretty close. I love to crawl and climb over things...and up things like the stairs, but Mommy and Daddy never let me get too far. I have a few words I like to say now. Mama, Dada, Ut-oh, Hi, No and Yes. I even try to say what's that? and my name...who new saying T.J. would be so tricky :)  Mommy will be calling my surgeon this week to figure out when my next surgery will be. I am not looking forward to it, but I have had a lot of issues with my acid reflux this past week and it is no fun at all. I already sleep elevated and now we have added a feral bag through the night to help with any unwanted fluids and it hasn't really changed anything so it looks like surgery is our next option. That's about it :)  please pray that my acid reflux stays under control and I learn to like eating by mouth! Thank you!

Father's Day Week

       I got to celebrate Father's Day at home with Daddy this year!  We had a good day I would say.  OT is getting better every time I go.  I drank some water and ate some cupcake icing while I was there!  I haven't seen PT yet, but HELP ME GROW says I'm doing great and other than walking, I'm not far behind at all.  Over the weekend I got to go to my first wedding.  After the long car ride I just wanted to play so Daddy had to take me outside until they were done.  Mommy and I did some running around, but we tried to keep this week as relaxed as possible so other than that we stayed home and played and did house chores.

Routine Life?

       This week has been great, it has been great because it's been normal.  I did a lot this week.  I got to go with Mommy and Daddy on their anniversary day date.  We went to the zoo, then Olive Garden (the waitress said I was adorable!), then to the mall to get Mommies gift and then to Mommy and Daddy's anniversary tradition Cold Stone Creamery!  Thursday I did have to go to the doctors, but just for a check on my incision sites and to have an x-ray done.  She said everything looks great and we don't have to go back for a few months!!!  We did casually bring up the next time I have to have surgery, but that won't be for a few months too.  Sunday I got to go to a birthday party and I had a lot of fun.  Monday I had OT and it went pretty well.  I am still behind, but the therapist was still pretty pleased with some of things I retained about OT.  After that we went to a music store that was closing down and got Daddy his anniversary/Father's day gift, a guitar and amp.  I loved listening to him play and I tried to help him even though he really didn't want me to :)   Today was a relax day, but we did go father's day shopping for my grandpa's and then to a park in Sunbury and then Dairy Queen.  Now it's night night time, thank you all for reading and praying I love you see me soon!

First Fishy

       Yesterday was my first day back at OT!  It didn't go completely as planned, (Since I still have no interest in eating) but the therapist was very happy that I was drinking water.  She did say we kind of went backwards a little with eating, but we would be able to work back up to where we were. I still haven't started PT yet but there is no hurry there since I'm doing great in that category.  Yesterday was also my first time fishing!  Guess what?  I caught my first fish (Blue Gill) and not only that I beat Daddy and Pepaw Troy for the first fish that day! GO ME!!! :)

      Last week I had a couple things going on and am happy to say my rash is almost completely gone, my g/tube site is doing much better and my incision looks 100% better!  We go back to Children's for a check up Thursday to see how I'm healing from my surgery.  Also tomorrow is Mommy and Daddy's 3 year anniversary so Happy Early Anniversary Mommy and Daddy! I hope we get to do fun stuff!  Thank you for all the prayers and kind thoughts!  I love you see me soon!
