Good week! 

       This week has been good nothing has changed. I am doing great. OT went well I ate and played like a pro. I won't have OT this week because of Thanksgiving and black Friday, but that's okay because I have been eating and drinking a lot on my own! I have started to do more sign langue my new favorite is food! We haven't done much because it's been so cold out. Brrr, but I am okay with that. I like to be warm. :) I hope everyone else is staying warm and has a great Thanksgiving. I am thankful for Children's Hospital. Not only did they save my life a handful of times, but they are saving other lives everyday!

My First Haircut  

       I've had a busy, but also good week! Last Wednesday I had my 18 month well visit, overall everything is fine I had to get a shot and also a prescription for my mild eczema. Thursday morning I had my OT (Fine Motor skills) evaluation and I did very well. She said I need to work on holding things like crayons a little more, but other than that nothing really stood out to her. We're not sure yet if she'll be back out to help with anything, but should find out soon. I also had another OT appointment (Eating and speech) Thursday afternoon and Friday morning and did very well there too! I am eating much better and willing to try more things and different textures more so than ever before!!! I made a turkey there too! Another thing that happened last Thursday evening was my very first hair cut! Daddy cut the first piece then my grandma did the rest while Mommy almost cried and took pictures :) She says I am growing way to fast and need to stop, but I am just getting started! I am starting to run, hop, skip and do crazy things while walking :) and if it makes someone laugh I continue to do it! I think I might be the family clown! I am also starting to talk more although I hate performing and act shy in front of most people. Daddy had the weekend off so we got to spend a lot of time together. I loved it!!! I am looking forward to Thanksgiving this year because I will be able to go see people unlike last year! I hope all of my followers are doing well and are keeping warm!

Burr!

       Hi everyone! I'm doing well this week!!! Help Me Grow decided to have a therapist come out last Thursday to make sure I am where I need to be with my fine motor skills.  She said I was doing very well, but wanted to come out this week to give me an actual evaluation.  OT was great! I get so excited when my therapist comes out to get me and I lead the way back to our room...I walk the place like I own it! :) My weekend was good we didn't do too much, but I was okay with that because it was kind of cold out! Whenever Mommy or Daddy ask me if I'm cold I like to say "burr" needless to say I've said a lot of that in the past 24 hours! I like to look out the window at the snow!!! Tomorrow I have my 18 month well visit with my pediatrician hopefully all goes well and I don't have to see any doctor until next year!

Halloween!!!

       I had a fun week!  OT went well last week.  I ate a lot of food there.  I finally got to go trick-or-treating too.  I got candy from 4 different places including the trunk-or-treat I told you about last week.  On Thursday (Halloween) Mommy took me to my Aunt Ashley's work where I got a lot of candy and also a $10 Toys-r-us gift card for a costume contest I participated in! After that we went to my Mommy's hometown, Plain City to trick-or-treat and I had a blast. I loved walking all by myself and even wanted to walk into people's houses after they gave me candy! Our last stop was at my Great Grandpa Moore and Great Grandma Letha's house, where I got Chips, juice and more candy!!! This past week during PT I didn't feel like doing much, but I showed my therapist that I could kick a ball and run which is all I needed to do for her to release me. As of October 31st 2013 I am all caught up on PT!!! GO ME! :) The time change messed with me a little. I want to go to bed and wake up earlier. Hope you all have adjusted well!
