Mean Rash

       I've had a good week. OT is going great and I am starting to eat more. I think being able to eat through my G-tube is helping.  I've had a rash for a couple weeks actually since the last time I went to my pediatrician. He gave us some gel to put on it and it helped at first, but it keeps coming back so I had to go again today and I was really good. I usually start crying as soon as they call my name, but today I didn't cry when they weighed me or got my height or even when they started to check me out. I did cry when he touched the sore spots, but what do you expect?  My doctor doesn't think another topical ointment is going to work so I am now on antibiotics for it so hopefully it will help, because it can get pretty painful.  We did get a current height and weight today. I am 35 1/2 inches tall and 28.2 pounds.  Please pray for my rash to go away and for me to want and like eating by mouth :) Thank you!

Feeding Update

       So I have been eating through my G-tube for almost a week and I am tolerating it just fine! I am also doing a great job eating by mouth. Today I took 12 bites of my soup!!! Usually I will only take 5 to 7 bites so this is a big step in the right direction. Please continue for me to tolerate my G-tube feeds along with taking more my mouth :) OT is going well I am willing to try whatever they want, but don't eat much of anything there, unless its cheese. I love cheese especially string cheese!  This past Friday was Valentines Day and I got a lot of chocolate, a stuffed Zebra, and The Jungle Book movie, it was a great day I made Mommy and Daddy a card at OT and got Mommy flowers and got Daddy chocolate and brownies!  Thank you all for your continued prayer I really appreciate them so much!

Good News 

       I had my appointment yesterday to determine whether or not the feeding specialist can help us out or not.  They have decided that we will start using my G-Tube which hasn't happened since August of 2012.  We have only been allowed to use my J-Tube which bypasses my stomach entirely and goes straight to my small intestine.  We are really excited, but starting extremely slow with very small amounts of baby food because we aren't sure that my stomach can handle it.  I think at first I will be fine since I am eating by mouth and can handle that just fine, but as we go up in volume I might have some problems so your prayers would be greatly appreciated :) OT is going good nothing has changed when it comes to that.  I have learned how to say Daddy in sign language and continue to potty in the big boy potty.  I am nowhere near being potty trained, but  I'm enjoying sitting on the potty and flushing it.  I don't know about all of you, but I am looking forward to spring time.  Happy Early Valentine's Day I hope everyone has a great holiday, I love you, come see me, and as always here is some of me!!!

Terrible Twos Already!?!

        I'm doing good this week! OT has been better I am tasting new things, but still not wanting to eat a lot by mouth. The last couple days at home have been great though I have been wanting to take more bites than I ever have, but it comes and goes. My appointment with the feeding specialist is next Monday and we are super excited to see if they can help out.  Mommy took me dress shopping with her on Tuesday because she and I are going to be in a wedding this summer and I wasn't very good I didn't listen very well and I just wanted to run around. Just wait until Mommy comes tux shopping with me and we'll see how much she likes it!  I am growing, talking, and learning so much. I love to talk and be loud (like my Mommy) I also like to dance and I have learned to jump. One of my new things I like to do is puzzles and I can do all of mine on my own. I got my second haircut Sunday and was very good. I look like such a little boy :) Mommy says I am entering my terrible twos, because when ever I am told no and get in trouble I slap whatever is closest to me or I will throw myself down on the ground and cry (not for long, but still.)  The other day I was so mad I screamed into a pillow, but was soon over what had happened and loving on Mommy. Today I got my first "time out" I was trying to dump my water out of my sippy cup and Mommy told me "No" and then I did it again and got a bunch of water on our TV stand. I got told "No", and put in a chair where I wasn't allowed to move for a while :( I don't think I'm going to dump my water anymore. Mainly I am a good boy though.
