T.J. Thursday.

       We've been really busy this week with the holiday.  Hence the late post.  I am at my g-tube feeding goal and we go to see my specialist on Monday.  I started out tolerating everything fine, but this week it has been a little difficult for me, not all the time just a few times this week. Every feeding today has been great so fingers crossed it continues this way.  We can't wait to see what comes next.  OT is going great.  I am trying new things and figuring out that I actually like a lot of it.  We have figured out that I like steak, bacon, and macaroni salad. I'm continuing to take steps in the right direction thanks to all of your prayers.  Hope everyone is doing well and staying cool.

So far so good.


       Well this is the week that I've reached my goal for g-tube feeds. We went up to 30mls of formula and so far so good!  We didn't have OT last week, but I am still eating like a champ, last night Mommy, Daddy and I had steak for dinner and I LOVED it. I couldn't get enough. Guess we'll be having that more often :) I started saying MOM this past weekend and I don't think Mommy likes it, because she doesn't answer me when I call her that...So I think I'll stick with Mommy.  I also pooped in the potty technically it's my second time. The first time I was sick and couldn't control it and sat on the potty for a long time, but this time I told Mommy I had to go and I also went the longest I have ever gone with a dry diaper.  Thank you all for reading and continuing to pray for me.

PICTURES!


       So nothing much has changed so this will probably be short, but we got our pictures and they are awesome!  OT has been good.  We've added 5 more mls to my formula making it 25mls now.  Next week we will go up to 30 and that's our max until we see the feeding specialist again.  I continue to talk more and more and more everyday. My favorite word is still  NO... we're working on that.  This week I have peed in the potty more than any other week!!  Mommy and I have been playing outside with all my toys and animals and I love it. I really don't like when it's time to go back inside.  My teeth have been bothering me a little bit. I have been chewing on frozen teethers none stop the last couple days.  I think that's everything for this week. Enjoy some of our pictures :)

Late...again 


       Our internet hasn't been working very well we think with all the wind it may have knocked something loose.  Hopefully we can figure it out and be on time next week.  OT has been great.  I've been walking back with no problems (knock on wood) and trying new things like green peppers even though I don't really like the texture I keep going back to it which is great!  I am doing much better this week with the cold I've had.  I still have a cough and a little bit of a runny nose though. We were hoping to have our family pictures along with my birthday pictures back, but no such luck.  The weather here has been awesome and yesterday Mommy and I spent some time playing outside.  I played with my toys and visited with our animals for a while it was a great time I love being outside.  This week we've gone up 5mls (20mls) on my formula through my g-tube and so far so good!!! We'll go up 5 more mls next week. One new thing I am doing is talking better I still don't like to perform for people, but will every now and then. Two words I started saying 'better'  this week is two words/names Mommy and Daddy don't really like because it means I am growing up. Those words are Mommy and Daddy :) I no longer say Momma and Dadda which my therapist said I'd start doing. Its good, but it makes them a little sad that I'm growing up so fast.  Speaking of growing up.  I can now show you  my head, hair, eyes, nose ears, mouth, tongue, teeth, lips, cheeks, chin, arms, hands, fingers, back, belly, butt, peepee, legs, feet, toes and sometimes shoulders :)  Since we don't have out professional pictures yet and didn't post any birthday party pics last week enjoy some this week.
