Surprising everyone!


       A while ago Help Me Grow (Help me grow comes to your home and helps make sure children stay on the correct developmental track. Since T.J. was in the NICU for so long he was behind with sitting up, rolling over, crawling, walking, ect.) came out to do an evaluation on me to see how much I have progressed in the last year and where I stand as far as being below average, average, or above average.  We finally got my results and I have tested above average for everything!  I'm doing so well that help me grow said I wouldn't need their help if it wasn't for OT which we are connected with through them. (Help Me Grow helps connect you with certain therapist if you need them)  In the very beginning Help Me Grow expected to be with me until I was in elementary school and I'm not even 3 yo. So that shows you how well I've been doing and how good God and the power of prayer really is!  OT was great this week I didn't eat much, but was willing to try some things.  I love to make myself burp and then say "excuse me" its like a game.  I am doing very well with saying please and thank you.  We've had a lot of people tell Mommy and Daddy how well mannered I am.  I am tolerating my g-tube feeds better this week, but we are taking it slow.  We got back to see my feeding specialist in a couple weeks.  Right now I am trying to figure out what I'm going to be for Halloween... So far I've wanted to be a monkey, lion, tiger, and elephant so we'll see soon what the end result will be.  Also I think this fall I am going to be taking swimming lessons at the local YMCA so that should be fun! Another tooth and another late post!

       It's been a while, but I have another tooth coming in that makes 19 all together now!  This week has been great, but busy.  We have gone up on g-tube feeds and I am tolerating them for the most part.  Please pray that it stretches my stomach to where we can continue.  I didn't have OT this week, but am doing really well with eating by  mouth.  Still working on potty training, some days I'm a fan and others I don't care much for it...I'm two what do you expect?  This week we got to go down the road and see our neighbors and they showed us their sheep and cattle.  I loved it!  Also this week Mommy taught me how to ride my bike (video below)!!!  Another short and sweet post this week, but again no news is good news :)  Thank you for your continued prayers!

No News = Good News! 

       I'm sorry for the late blog.  Yesterday we were really busy and away from home most of the day.  This week has been good though.  My eye is looking much better thanks to the new medicine my doctor gave me.   OT was great this week we have decided to go every other week instead of every week and see how it goes.  My g-tube feeds went up again this week and I am tolerating it like a champ!!!  Over the last couple of months I have really grown and learned so much.  I know my basic colors and then some and I am also learning to count!  I love saying "One, two, three, GO!" and sometimes I count to five!  I am also talking and using sentences more.  My favorite things to do right now involve playing with cars, swimming, playing outside, play with bubbles, driving my little car, watching cartoons (Jake and the Neverland pirates, Mickey Mouse, Dinosaur Train), playing with electronics, and helping Mommy feed the horses.  My favorite things to eat are cheese sticks, pickles, veggie straws, cheeze its, chips, meat (bacon, ham, chicken, pork chops, steak, hot dogs ), french fries, and bread.  I still really only drink water, but every now and then I will try some juice or milk.  Please continue to pray that I tolerate my feedings and please also pray for my Mommy.  She has been having trouble with her neck and left arm.  I'm sorry for not uploading pictures.  I will try to add a few extra next week.        

Busy Weekend

       I hope everyone had a great Labor day.  My week has been great.  I got to spend a lot of time with friends and family and had an awesome time.  I didn't have OT this week.  We went up on my g-tube feeds and so far so good.  Mommy and Daddy took me to my pediatrician about my eye and he's not too worried about it, but he did prescribe me some new cream for it and hopefully that helps.  I was so good at the doctors Mommy and Daddy let me pick out a prize at the store!!! Short and sweet this week.  :-)
