Birthday fun! 


      Well... I am now 3!!!  I had a great birthday and party!  I loved seeing everyone and playing with all the other kids!!!  My party was pirate themed so Mommy made Jake and the neverland pirates themed cakes and cupcakes!  They were so yummy!  Mommy, Daddy, and I had our pictures taken professionally so hopefully we get them soon so we can show everyone!  My swing set was finished on Saturday and I LOVE IT!!!  It's all I wanted to play with, but it started to rain as soon as they were finishing so I only got to go down the slide once.  I did finally get to play on it Sunday during my party and I loved showing it off and sharing with the other kids!  Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday!!!

       Mommy, Daddy, and I had a great week/weekend.  We went shopping for some stuff for my party this weekend and even got me a really big birthday gift that they have to put together! Can anyone guess what it is!???  We still haven't heard anything back from OT.  Mommy will probably call soon to see whats going on.  This past week I got to go see some of Daddy's cousins play baseball and I have informed Mommy and Daddy that I would like to play as well. Which made Daddy happy because that was his sport!  This weekend I had an issue with my tube that Mommy and I have only seen a couple of times.  My tube would get really tight and I would have to relax and give it a minute to let up and go back to normal.  It's really uncomfortable for me...like I said it has happened a couple of times before, but Saturday it happened quite a bit and we're not sure what it means.  That was the only day it happened and since then I have been fine (knock on wood) so Mommy is going to keep an eye on it and wait and see.  The next time I write on here I will be three!  Until then enjoy some pictures!

Happy Easter!


       I hope everyone had a good Easter!  Ours was great!  I got to color eggs for the very first time and I loved it!  We went to church and then to visit with family and have an Easter egg hunt (I found 45 eggs) we also had a birthday party that day where I got to meet spider-man!!!  I'm not sure if I had told everyone that I had one last appointment with my OT therapist coming up just to make sure nothing has changed and I was good to be discharged from them...well that appointment was Monday and Mommy and Daddy noticed I was stuttering last week and were kind of worried.  So Mommy brought it up to my OT therapist Monday and she didn't seemed too worried about it and said many kids my age go through this phase of stuttering, but after she evaluated me she told Mommy that I was right on the edge of needing more therapy.  She said she didn't really notice the stuttering and I was picking up some words that most 4-5 year old's can't say, but I was having trouble pronouncing words that start with F and S.  She wanted to wait and reevaluate me again this summer in hopes that I would grow out of it, but Mommy wasn't comfortable with waiting and because of my entire past they both decided it would be best to do more therapy now even though I could grow out of it instead of waiting and it possibly getting worse.  Last week Mommy and I went to play on the toys in the mall...usually I'm not allowed to play on them because of germs, but Mommy took me real early in the morning hoping no one would be there and I had the greatest time!  A lot of kids started showing up after about an hour though and one little boy ran me over and scraped my nose so I have a feeling I wont be going back, but is was fun while it lasted :)  I also got to fly a kite for the first time this week and thought that was pretty cool.  A week for lots of firsts!  Also lots of pictures!!! :)
