Happy Fathers Day!


       I hope everyone had a great Fathers Day!  I think my Daddy did!  He wanted to stay home so that's hat we did!  We did get to see two of my grandpas and spend a little bit of time with them and I loved that!  Unfortunately I started my weekend off with sneezing, red eyes and a runny nose and now Mommy's starting to get it.  My eye is about the same maybe a little bit better, but it's only been a week so hopefully its starts looking a lot better soon.  I am still stuttering so we're working on that.  It isn't all the time just when I really want to tell someone something.  I found the board game cabinet in our house a while ago and have been begging Mommy and Daddy to play some.  So we had a family game night and I insisted  we play Sorry...Mommy and Daddy tried to talk me into playing one of my games, but I thought Sorry looked fun!  So we played it and I made one of my pieces all the way around the board and into home and I was done.  Mommy won that one!  Then Mommy and Daddy figured I would have more fun playing a game for my age so we played Cooties and guess what!!!  I won!  I loved rolling the dice and picking out the parts I wanted, but I wasn't done I wanted to play more so I picked a matching game and once I realized I couldn't just keep all of the cards I picked up wasn't really interested in it and just wanted to play with toys! Daddy won that one!  I think that family game night is something that is going to happen a lot more now...I saw some Uno cards in there that looked fun :)  Oh by the way my g-tube spot hasn't leaked in a while (knock on wood)  so fingers crossed its closing on it own!  Please pray that we both get over our colds soon and my eye gets better on it's own.  Thank you!

Eye Doctor Visit 


       So that baby shower I was helping Mommy with turned out great!  I was a great helper and loved eating the cupcakes, watching her open gifts and paying on the playground!  This week I have been stuttering again...it isn't bad, but its noticeable hopefully its just another phase or maybe I'm trying to talk faster or maybe even figure out certain sounds because now I have my F sounds down!!!  I will keep everyone updated on how that goes.  I know last week I told you that hopefully I could get in to see an eye specialist soon and when Mommy called last week they said they had an opening for today so that's where Mommy and I spent our morning.  I had two of the same exam one before and after they dilated my eyes.  My first exam I was a little nervous and the Doctor said that I was borderline on needing glasses and also that my pupils looked as if they weren't the same size, but not by very much.  After they dilated my eyes they waited a while and then did the exam again.  This time he said that he thought I was more relaxed because I tested better so I don't need glasses and he said my pupils looked fine and sometimes one is just bigger than the other and he didn't notice it again,  I was however getting two more styes in my other eye and the big stye that wasn't going away in my left eye needed some more help.  So we have new drops with an antibiotic and a steroid that we will try along with warm compresses everyday multiple times a day to see if that helps.  Hopefully it does, but if it doesn't then it may need to be drained or removed and that would involve being put under.  So please pray that everything heals up with these new drops!   Thank you!

       This past week was so much fun!  My horse Kate had her 17th birthday so we got to take her out some carrots and apples then  Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary and took me with them.  We got ice cream from cold stone (Mommy and I got strawberry ice cream with strawberries and graham crackers) it was so good!!!  Then we went to a movie and it was my first time ever going to a movie theater.  I loved it. I got popcorn and an icy!  The movie we saw was Avengers: Age of Ultron.  I loved seeing all of the super heroes especially The Hulk, but about half way through the movie I fell asleep. Mommy and Daddy thought it was funny because I fell asleep during the loudest part (haha!)  Mommy, Daddy and I also went down to our neighbors house and grilled out and I got to play with their kids and new puppy! It was so much fun!  I have been helping Mommy get ready for my Aunts baby shower that is this weekend in about a month or so we will be welcoming my new cousin into this world and I get to go watch her open gifts and play games so I'm excited about that!  My g-tube stop is still healing it will leak sometimes, but only a very little so hopefully that means its trying to close all the way (fingers crossed!)  So remember a few months ago I had an eye infection/stye...well we've been doing drops and gels and warm compresses and although it has gotten better My eye doctor isn't very happy with it so now Mommy has to call an eye specialist to see where we go next.  Hopefully we can get me in there soon!  Thank you for reading and paying!

Happy June!


       Wow I can't believe it's June already.  It's almost been a full week since I got my tube out and so far so good...Its been leaking so we still have gauze on it which Mommy changes twice a day unless I leak a lot. The tape is giving me a little rash so I think soon we will try to go without it for a couple hours during the day.  Hopefully the hole starts closing more and I start leaking less!   Since last week was a late post and this week is normal I don't have much news, but I do have some.  Sunday Mommy, Daddy and I were on TV with a coworker of Daddy's at a news station to present a check to the Children's Miracle Network.  Since I lived there the first few months of my life Daddy's work invited us to be a part of it!  Hope everyone had a great weekend!  Please pray my tube site heals quickly.
