Easiest Recovery Ever!

This past week has been uneventful.  My eyes are looking great!  I was almost 100% back to my normal self just 48 hours after surgery! It was the easiest recovery I've ever had!!!  Mommy and Daddy took me to the Delaware county fair to watch the demo derby with some family over the weekend and I had a great time! Mommy and Daddy also took my to my first hockey game!!!  I loved yelling "GO BLUE JACKETS", eating popcorn and drinking pop!!!  We're going to go again soon and I can't wait! Daddy left for GA today for work and we miss him, but will be picking him up Thursday night! Thank you for reading and praying.

Mommy and I had a silly photo shoot...Enjoy!

Surgery Update

Our weekend was nice!  I was the ring bearer in my mommy's friends wedding!  I got to ride in a horse and carriage and be called out on the dance floor!  Other than that we had a relaxing weekend since my surgery was yesterday.  Speaking of surgery...Everything went really well!!!  The surgeon was able to drain the styes instead of cutting them out.  I actually had more than we thought, but they all drained fine and the whole surgery took about 30 minutes.  I woke up sore and puffy, but otherwise fine.  I rested for a little bit and had a popsicle then they sent us home!  Mommy and Daddy took me to the toy store afterwards and let me pick out a toy.  I got a police motorcycle and tablets that hatch into dinosaurs when you put them in water!!!  I am still sore and puffy, but pretty much back to normal.  We have to put gel in both eyes twice a day for a week and I hate it, but tolerate it.  The reason I got to come home was because when we talked to my main surgeon and told her my gtube hasn't been leaking she decided to just leave it alone.  So hopefully it continues on this path and has healed on its own and we don't have to schedule another surgery (fingers crossed)  Thank you for all of your prayers they are all very much appreciated!

Feels like Fall!

This weekend was chilly!  Mommy, my Grandma, my Aunt and I went shopping for some shoes since I'm in a wedding this weekend and we stopped by the pet store to look at the animals and Mommy let me hold a puppy and a mouse!  I also got to pet some kittens, a ferret, a turtle, a bunny, a bird and a guinea pig!!!!  I wanted to pet a snake too, but he was in a cage and I wanted to bring the mice home, but Mommy said no!  Sorry this post is short.  Next week will be longer.  I will be having my styes drained and possibly my gtube stitched shut on Monday the 21st.  Please pray that everything goes according to plan and I am able to come home that same day.   Thank you!!!

Happy Memorial Day!

Mommy and Daddy took me to my very first high school football game on Friday.  It was Daddy's school vs. Daddy's cousins school!  Daddy's school won!  I had a great time and can't wait to go again!!!  Sunday I got to go to a birthday day party and went swimming and played with lots of toys!!!  Yesterday Mommy, Daddy and I went to Cosi!  Cosi is a hands on science center and I had never gone before.  I had a lot of fun playing with toys and helping Mommy build a floating basket to put in a wind tunnel!!! It was awesome!  Then we went to my Memaw and Pepaws and watched the Buckeye game with them!!! It was such a fun weekend!  Thanks for reading!
