Super Late Update.

I am so sorry this weeks update is so late.  We've had bad weather the last couple of days and that caused a power outage.  This past week was BUSY, but a lot of fun. I am feeling a lot better this week than last even though I have a runny nose and have been sneezing a lot today.  Hopefully I'm not catching a cold.  I turned two and boy did we celebrate :) On my birthday day (The 24th)  Mommy and Daddy gave me gifts and then we went and had pictures taken, I did good at first then got tired of it, but quickly came back around and got some great picture of me with my toy car AND when we got home I got to take my first ride on out horse, Kate and I LOVED IT!  Saturday we went to another Easter egg hunt for high risk mommies and their families and I won my third egg hunt with 19 eggs!!! I am 3 for 3 on my egg hunts :) Sunday was my birthday party and I had a blast. We had basketball, bounce house, play house, roller coaster, water toy, games and cake and ice cream! It was a long but super fun day and I'd like to thank everyone who got to come.  Since Sunday I have had three doctors appointments all of which have gone really well.  My first one was to get a new G/J-tube (I get a new one every 3 months) and they gave us great news...I can swim! For the last two years everyone has told us my tube couldn't be submerged under water, but the radiologist gave us the okay. This makes us happy because my Grandpa Vance and my mommy are big swimmers and love the water so I am excited to try it out.  My second appointment was with my feeding specialist and they are very pleased with where I am and how well I've tolerated my g-tube feeds.  We are now on a four week journey to up my formula intake through my g-tube. I have been getting 30 ml of baby food, 15 ml of formula, and 15 ml of water 3 times a day. What we are working towards is more formula and one more feeding a day, so 30 ml of baby food, 30 ml of formula and 15 ml of water 4 times a day. We are going slow, but hopefully I can tolerate everything and keep moving forward.  My third appointment was my 2 year well visit and they are also very happy with where I am... I am 29 pounds and almost 36 inches tall.  My pediatrician thinks I'll be a tall boy and told Mommy to get ready for those big grocery store trips :) I also got a new tooth this week which makes 18 all together. I hope everyone survived the storms we got in central Ohio and has a great week.  I am going to post some pictures, but will try to post more from my party and our photo shoot as son as I can.
P.S. I'd like to wish my NICU buddy Markofe a very very happy and healthy 2nd birthday!
