Fun weekend!!!

Nothing much to post today. I am at my goal of 45mls of formula. Next week we will start going up by 5ml a week on baby food. I am getting 30 mls of baby food 4 times a day as of right now and we have a goal of 45 mls in three weeks.  45 mls of both formula and baby food.  After that we will go see the feeding specialist and see what we do from there.  Unless of course I can't tolerate that much volume then we will go from there.  Please pray I can tolerate it and take the next step to getting this tube out.  OT is going well.  I only go once a week now instead to twice, but I did really really well on Monday when we went.  Over the weekend I got to go to the St. Mary's Festival and ride some carnival rides and I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!  I didn't want to get off of them or leave to go home, but Daddy won me a stuffed monkey so that made it a little better. Thank you for reading my posts and praying for me.

Zoo.

Sorry for the late post we were at the Columbus Zoo all day yesterday.  We got to pet a wallaby, A penguin, and an armadillo. Mommy and I also rode a camel. I loved seeing the bears, giraffes, lions, and the okapis, but the monkeys were my favorite. I had so much fun.  OT was awesome this week.  We went up on my G-tube feeds on Monday and I am tolerating it all very well.  Knock on wood.  Nothing much to blog about this week so enjoy some photos from the Zoo.

Doing good!

We have gone up on my g-tube feeds twice since last weeks post.  Last week we went up 5ml on the formula (35ml) everything else stayed the same.  Today we went up 5 more (40ml) I am now done getting all 4 of my feedings and I tolerated them all! PTL!  We will go up on formula one more time then stop and move to going up on baby food until both of them are at 45ml.  By the end of this goal I should be down to 7 1/2 hours of continuous night feeds.  Which is awesome considering when I first came home at 5 months old I was on the pump for 18 hours!!!  OT is going great as well I am continuing to talk a lot more and taste more foods. My therapist is extremely happy with my progress.  We are still working on potty training I am starting to tell Mommy when I need to go more and more. Over the weekend I tried out some big boy undies and kept them dry for 5 hours!  I just don't really like to tell anyone when I have to when we have company or when I am playing with Mommy and Daddy.  Other than that I pull on Mommy and say poopy...even when I just have to go pee.  Please continue to pray that I tolerate my feeds.

Appointment Time

We saw my feeding specialist yesterday and everything went well. They are happy with how well I am doing even though I didn't tolerate all of my feedings.  They decided to continue to go up on feeds a little each week until I meet a new goal or until I can't tolerate any feedings at all.  Right now I am at 30ml of baby food, 30ml of formula and 15ml water. Within the next 6 weeks I will be going up 5ml every week. Formula first then baby food until I reach 45ml of both.  The more we go up on my g-tube feeds the more we go down on j-tube feeds which is the 8 hours and 45 minutes of continuous feeds through the night. So another step in the right direction and we're happy with everything as long as I can tolerate it. OT has been great still trying new foods and working on words. I can say over 100 words!  I am also working on body parts (I love to point out my knees), colors (I know Yellow, Blue and Orange very well ), and shapes (All I really care about right now is the star shapes, but I know circle as well).  Please pray that I can tolerate my feeds.  It's past my bedtime, but I'll try to add pictures soon.
