Surgery went well. Everything went as planned and it only took an hour or so. We thought maybe it would be canceled because my cough seemed to be worse Friday morning, but the anesthesiologist left it up to Mommy and Daddy and while Mommy was a little nervous, Daddy thought it was okay and it was they saw no secretions or anything that would interfere thank God!!! I did so well that my surgeon let me come home instead of stay the night. Mommy and Daddy did take me to the troy store on our way home and I got a Thor hammer!!! I was sore, but wanted to eat and drink immediately and within a few hours and after a long nap I was ready to jump around and play which made Mommy and Daddy nervous, but I am a boy and boys will be boys. I had a couple incidents where it hurt so I had to slow down a little, but other than that I was totally back to normal by the next morning PTL. I had my first post surgery shower on Sunday and the dressing stayed on, but on Monday it was time to take it off and I didn't like that one bit. I still have steri strips on and they will eventually come off on their own. I also stopped taking Tylenol on Sunday cause I'm tough!!! :) Thank you so much for all of your prayers and please continue to pray for a fast recovery and no infections!
